Leaving Indiana

(Picture is of me and David at my going-away party showing off our sweet tats.) Welcome to my first blog ever... typically this is not my kind of thing since I like to send personal emails, but aside from writing 73 emails a month this is probably the easiest way to keep everyone updated on what's going on. There's really nothing to say so far. As most of you know, this is my last day in Indianapolis and the car is packed so full there is very little breathing room left for me and the cats. We'll be driving to Texas and I'll be staying there until September 12 or so when I leave for Kenya. In other words, you may not want to check the blog until late September or October because right now I'll just be rambling about getting ready to leave. Not very entertaining if you ask me. Anyhow, I'm leaving at about 7pm tonight to avoid driving in the triple-digit temperatures so if any of you get a phone call from me tonight answer it... I probably need someone to keep me awake... although, I'm sure my cats have that covered. Normally I would look forward to going home to Texas, but as most of you also know, I'm probably making a horrible mistake and leaving my boyfriend of two years. :( But, I know you guys didn't come here to read a bunch of sappy stuff, so I'll just say that I will miss Kyle very very much and hope that he will still be accepting my long distance calls a few years from now. Thanks to all the friends I made here in Indianapolis... I won't forget about the money you guys took from me in oh-so-many poker games. And thanks to my boss, John, for making work a fun place to be for the past year. I feel like I'm at the academy awards, so I'll cut this short. I'll miss you, Indy. Peace. Libby.
